God created a path where we experience his love and learn how to express his love. We begin life with a pre-existing relationship with God. The scriptures say that he knew us before we were born and that he loved us before we were born. The first person we become aware of is our own self. God meant for each of us to appreciate ourselves and to honor and love our very existence. If we have an excellent relationship with God and ourselves, our other relationships will be under God's guidance.

The next people we become aware of is our own family. God wants us to honor and to love our family members. After family we meet friends. Our friendships are special relationships God gives us. Again God commands us to Love our friends and even our enemies.

After friendship comes romance. This is a special relationship between a man and a woman. Most people eventually will marry. Marriage is a relationship which is actually a covenant with God. We are to show our highest level of love in this relationship.

The path is not to be walked only once in life. We should continually reinforce each step along the way. Each Step along the path can strengthen or weaken God's love in our lives. It is important that we continually go to God and receive his love. After receiving his love we will be able to allow God to love others through our own relationships.
